How to Sell Your Creations and Artwork

Updated: Oct. 18, 2025

Before you think about sales, you need to build yourself up.

I’ve been painting since 1992. I left a career in management to make a living from my creativity. Today, I’m a Creative Designer: I draw by hand, design labels, packaging, illustrations, events, and storytelling. My life is made up of projects that didn’t exist before. I have collaborated with brands such as Real Madrid, Berlucchi, Enrico Bartolini, Signorvino and many others. My works have been purchased by Hollywood actors, rappers such as Sfera Ebbasta and Guè Pequeno, and I was honored by Identità Golose as Best Communicator of 2025.

  • I didn't finish high school.

  • I hated math.

  • I don't have a college degree.

And yet today I make a living from my creativity. That’s because I’ve never thought of sales as a starting point, but rather as the result of many consistent actions: drawing, expressing myself, building an image, experimenting, and collaborating.

If I am able to sell my work today and take on projects for world-renowned Champagne houses, it is because I have built a clear, recognizable, and credible identity.

Here are my suggestions for today:

  1. Strengthen your personal brand: Choose a style and tone, and stick to them consistently.

  2. Create your image: photos, content, and little details that tell the story of who you are (collectors and future brands like to know a little more about you).

  3. Study those who have succeeded: Observe artists and creatives who are successful and ask yourself “What are they doing that I could adapt to my own path?”.

Remember: you’re not selling a drawing or a creation, you’re selling yourself as an artist. If you start working on your personal brand today, in a few months you’ll see your first sales come in. In the next newsletter, I’ll explain why you don’t need to please everyone to be successful.
